1. Overview

	The Seclave Plugin for Keepass add functionality for using your Seclave Password Manager with Keepass. Currently the following are supported:
	-Export whole Keepass database to Seclave Password Manager
	-Export single group with subgroups to Seclave Password Manager

	It is currently not possible to import passwords from a Seclave device to a KeePass database.


2. Installation

	- Download the plugin from www.seclave.se and unpack the ZIP file to a directory of your choice.
	- Copy the SeclavePlugin.plgx plugin file into the KeePass directory (the location of KeePass.exe) or a subdirectory of it.
	- Restart KeePass in order to load the new plugin.
	- Check that there is an "Export to Seclave" option in the Tools menu
 
3. Usage
 
3.1 Export all passwords to device 
	- On the Seclave device choose "Import". The display should show "Import 0% done".
	- Connect the device to the computer
	- Open the KeePass password database of your coice
	- Choose "Export all groupts to Seclave" in the tools menu
	- Choose your Seclave device in the dialog that opens.
	- When the device says "Disconnect from OS", eject the device
 
3.2 Export selected group to device 
	- On the Seclave device choose "Import". The display should show "Import 0% done".
	- Connect the device to the computer
	- Open the KeePass password database of your coice
	- Right click on name of the group to export.
	- Choose "Export this group to Seclave" in the tools menu
	- Choose your Seclave device in the dialog that opens.
	- When the device says "Disconnect from OS", eject the device

3.3 Truncated entries
	If one of the exported field in an entry is longer than the max length of what the Seclave Password Manager can handle, the field will be truncated during export. If that occures a dialog will appear after the export is done, stating groupname and title of the entry(ies) that was truncated.

4. Entry mapping/Limitations
	The entries in KeePass has the following mapping to Seclave entries. (Max length in Seclave Password Manager)
	- Title - Label (16)
	- UserName - UserName (34) 
	- Password - Password (48)
	- Notes - Optional (13)
 
	Due to label length limitations on the Seclave, any entry that is too long will be truncated during the export. See the Seclave User Guide for details.
	A maximum of 500 passwords can be exported. If more than 500 passwords are selected for export, only the first 500 will be exported.
